As a family business with long experience, Corrigan and Sons Funeral Directors can meet the requirements of our customers, providing compassion and care in the arrangements for the bereaved at a time of sadness and grief. Our service to you starts as soon as contact is made either by telephone or meeting at our funeral home or a venue of your choice.

This includes offering you advice regarding the options for the funeral including burial grounds, crematoriums, headstones, death registration and entitlements. We arrange everything in accordance with your wishes, and those of the Deceased, within an agreed budget.

Our Professional Services:
  • Provision of hearse, staff and selected coffin.
  • Conducting the funeral; liaison with executor/next of kin.
  • Advice regarding the funeral service.
  • Supervision and attending to all necessary arrangements.
  • Limousines are available and charged separately.
Necessary Arrangements May Include:
  • Laying out, Dressing & Care of Decased.
  • Contact with clergy or parish office to arrange times of Funeral Mass or Service.
  • Assisting with the cemetery or cremation forms.
  • Liaison with local GP or coroner.
  • Advice on registration of death or other arrangements as required.
Payments On The Customers Behalf:
  • Newspaper, Radio and Web announcements.
  • Purchase and or opening of graves.
  • Cremation fees.
  • Offerings to Parish and Assistants.
  • Floral tributes.
  • Church music.
  • Order of Service booklets
Additional Services Available:
  • Acknowledgement Notices.
  • In Memoriam notices.
  • We can arrange to supply and erect memorials.
  • Peace Commissioner.
Dual Location Wake – Family Home and Funeral Home
Many families would prefer to invite friends and family to visit them and their loved one in the family home but for many reasons, this may not be possible. Corrigan and Sons Funeral Directors offer the opportunity to combine the use of a family home and our funeral home in these circumstances. In this scenario, the funeral home would be used for a public gathering for extended relatives and friends over a specified period of time. The deceased may rest in the privacy of a family home before and after the use of our funeral home where the immediate family have more time and privacy to come to terms with their loss.
